Ok. So I've been contemplating this decision for months now. Should I cut my hair or not?? I've been growing it our for about 4 years now from a very bad, very short haircut. It's been driving me crazy lately though! It takes forever to comb, especially when it's wet. It's annoying when I sleep, it's always getting in my way. I shed like crazy! I could go on. So, I'm thinking about cutting it. John doesn't want me to though. He likes long hair. My dilemma is that I'm terrified to cut it anyway, because I'm worried that I'll hate the new haircut and wish I hadn't. So, anyway, I told John I'd take a poll and see what everyone else thinks. Should I cut it? If so, how short? What style? Got any pics of good cuts? The thing is that my hair is really fine and limp. And I don't spend very much time on it, so it would have to be a quick and easy style. Any feedback would be much appreciated! Even if you're not bloggers, leave a comment!!

Cut it...my goodness Rachel. I would say just at the shoulders layer it is a safe bet.
Cut it!!!! I think it would look so cute arounf your shoulders! I can't wait to see what you decide!
Jennette says to leave the length and have layers cut into it for body and texture. I agree. It's Fall, and Winter is coming soon, so it won't be hot. Isn't your husband's opinion more important than anyone else's? Keep the length.

Jennette's ammendment: Husband's opinion? Nah, do what YOU want.
Tell John its not his decision lol :) He is just biased because he likes long hair but I thought you looked really cute when it was short...so I think you should cut it!! It would be really cute above the shoulders. If you ever come down this way soon I have TONS of hair magazines you could borrow to find a picture if you want.

Do not cut it off..you grew it for a reason! I think you need some texturizing..please DON"T let them cut face framing layers..it will just look like a shelf in the front. I think maybe a inch or two off and then add some movement with texture..just my thoughts. If you cut it all off..we are still friends!
In February I cut my hair off and donated it to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths. I chose them because you only need 8 inches to donate(unlike locks for love where you need 10) and I like that they give their wigs to lots of different cancer fighters.
Although I've still had bad hair days with short hair, it grows fast.
I think that you should go for the Pob(Posh Spice bob). (A-line without the stacking in the back.) It's really cute and simple to take care of.
Good luck with your decision! Don't let Devin talk to you, he'll just goad you into cutting it!
I say go spiked mohawk and dye it blue! Or maybe just gradually go shorter. I am probably not the one to ask, since I can't make the same decision for myself. You would be shocked at how long my hair has gotten! Miss you! Stop bragging about your beautiful weather!!!
I think you should do what makes you happy, while still pleasing John. :) After all you need to keep the attraction and take his advice too. I think it would look great just a little shorter with lots of layers. If you leave the lenth but do a new style it'll still feel like something new, and it won't be as scary as going really short. Have fun!.... by the way- I can't believe it's gotten so long!
I just recently went through the same thing.I cut off an inch in the back for deadends and add some long layers. My hair dresser recommened using a root booster. I really enjoy that .It adds some body plus some volumizing hair gel. You some want to try som different hues or accents in a weave to your hair, I went with a lighter weave, it brightened my look quite a bit. Keep the length, it takes so long to grow it.
I say cut it! Maybe like 3 inches and have some layers put in it! I can't believe it is that long! CRAZY!! Mine gets a little past my shoulders and it's time for a trim!! Post pics when you decide!!
